Constitution Trail Centre
Constitution Trail Centre is a 450,000 s.f. open air retail center located at the intersection of Interstate 55 & Highway 51. The 76-acre development will include a large water feature with heavy landscaping along Highway 51 (Main Street). This area will also include a continuation of the Constitution Trail for pedestrian and bicycle trafficking.

Current tenants include: Schnucks Marketplace, 14-screen Starplex Cinemas,78-room AmericInn Lodge & Suites, Applebee's, Starbucks, Moe's Southwest Grill, Dollar Tree, Great Clips, Super Gyro's, Subway, Verizon Wireless, McAlister's Deli, Rosati's Pizza, Planet Beach Tanning Spa, U.S. Cellular, American General Finance, H&R Block and Nail Salon. Schnucks Marketplace will be the first tenant to open its doors in September 2007 with more tenants to open in thefollowing months.

McLean County Industrial Center
Interstate Realty, Inc. and L.B. Anderson & Company have acquired 550 acres of land in Chenoa to develop the McLean County Industrial Center. It will consist of an industrial and business park near Interstate 55 and U.S. Route 24. The Anderson Company will develop the land and build buildings to suit their customers or provide land for them to build their own warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

Twin Groves Wind Farm
The Twin Groves Wind Farm is being developed by Horizon Wind Energy. The wind farm will include up to 267 wind turbine generators, producing about 400 megawatts of energy and serving approximately 120,000 homes. The project is scheduled for completion in 2007.

Ensenberger Lofts

The Ensenberger Lofts are the result of a $9 million renovation of the Ensenberger Building on the courthouse square in downtown Bloomington. The building will hold 28 condominiums with five modern floor plans. The condos will feature two or three bedrooms, 12-foot loft-style ceilings, 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 baths, wood floors, granite countertops, gas fireplaces and private balconies. Prices start at $169,500. The condos are scheduled for completion in summer 2006.

Marriott Hotel and Conference Center

The Marriott Hotel is part of the Town of Normal's Downtown Redevelopment Plan. It will be a 10-story, full service hotel with 230 guest rooms, a 40,000 s.f. conference center, a restaurant and a pool and exercise center. The hotel will be located across from Illinois State University's Watterson Towers and is scheduled to open in spring 2007.

     Recently Completed

Bank of Illinois Building

Another aspect of the Normal Downtown Redevelopment Plan was the construction of the new Bank of Illinois building. Tenants in the building include the Bank of Illinois, EDC, Farnsworth Group and the Burwood Group. The former bank is in the process of being replaced with a parking deck and a building with retail and commercial sites on the first floor and condominiums on the top floors.

Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts will take the place of the former Scottish Rite Temple in the cultural district of downtown Bloomington. The building will have updated stage systems and artist facilities, improved patron access and comfort, modernized building systems and improved safety. The Center is scheduled for completion in September 2006.

U.S. Cellular Coliseum

The U.S. Cellular Coliseum in downtown Bloomington will be a venue for concerts, hockey and indoor football games and conventions. It has a fixed seating capacity of 7,000 for hockey and football games and 8,000 for concerts. The Coliseum also features the attached Pepsi Ice Center, an indoor ice skating rink. The Coliseum opened in March 2006, and the ice center opened in May 2006.
