Parks & Recreation

Bloomington

The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is comprised of 39 parks, three golf courses and the Miller Park Zoo. The City also maintains part of the Constitution Trail, a 24-mile hard-surface multi-use path, in conjunction with the Town of Normal.

Normal

The Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department includes 13 parks, an 18-hole golf course, a historic theater, a community center, two outdoor pools, a 10-field softball complex and the Constitution Trail. The department also provides several classes and programs targeted at the community's youth, adults and special populations.

McLean County

The McLean County Department of Parks and Recreation encompasses 2,250 acres of regional parks, including Comlara Park, which offers camping, boating, hunting, etc. and West County Park, which offers hiking and a nature area.

Moraine View State Park

Moraine View State Park is located near rural LeRoy and offers several activities such as boating, camping, fishing, horseback rides, swimming, cross-country skiing and sledding.
