This information pertains to the population of McLean County and the municipal divisions contained within. The term, "demographics," refers to the makeup of the population, categorized into age groups, sex and ethnic backgrounds. The projections are current and based on the best estimations available to the EDC. As with all projections, margins of error increase with each successive year of forecast.
In 2005, the Town of Normal and the City of Bloomington commissioned special censuses to account for recent growth. When appropriate, these new figures have been cited. Sources for information can be found at the bottom of each page.
