Mitsubishi Plant Tours:

The Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has been arranging tours of the plant since April 7th, 2005. As of October 17th, 1,635 people have participated in the tours.

The tours take place on Thursdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. (black out dates apply). Reservations must be made in advance for they fill up fast. Each tour can include up to 40 people. The visit lasts approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours, which includes an introductory video, a 20-30 minute cat walk tour and followed by a question and answer session. The tour is free of charge. Children under the age of 10 years old are not permitted on the tour. The tours are wheelchair accessible. Reservations can be made through the Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at 1-800-433-8226.
