BNEDC Welcomes New Project Manager Nik Duffle

Staff is pleased to announce our new Project Manager Nik Duffle. Duffle is the former Deputy Director of Advance for Governor Bruce Rauner and, more recently, Community & Economic Development Coordinator for the Village of Forsyth. Duffle has completed the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) Basic Economic Development Course, which is the first step in earning IEDC’s Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification. Duffle earned a bachelors in Business Management from Millikin University and played baseball for the Big Blue. Duffle also has entrepreneurship experience via his woodworking shop Mills Woodworks LLC. We believe Duffle’s background, education, and proactive attitude will make him a great addition to our team.

“Being a native of Central Illinois, I’ve always admired the growth and progress of Bloomington/Normal. With the momentum and drive of its variety of established businesses, educational institutions and community leaders, I am looking forward to contributing my economic development experience to help continue to advance the community.” – Nik Duffle

Duffle’s responsibilities include answering developer Request for Proposals (RFP), monitoring McLean County’s available sites and buildings, and tracking and presenting local, state and federal economic development incentives. Duffle’s start date is February 10th. Nik’s LinkedIN
